The Grand Moroccan Odyssey

, The Grand Moroccan Odyssey is our most iconic route, designed for those who want to witness the full evolution of Moroccan landscape and culture. This 13-day journey begins at the Mediterranean gateway of Tangier and travels through the sapphire-blue streets of the Rif Mountains, down into the medieval heart of the Imperial Cities, and finally deep into the golden silence of the Sahara Desert.

Itinenarie

Day 1–2: Tangier – Crossroads of Continents

Welcome to the gateway of Africa. Tangier is where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean and where European history blends with Moroccan tradition.

  • The Kasbah & Medina: Explore the hilltop Kasbah, once a playground for international writers and spies. Visit the Caves of Hercules, where the sea carves an opening in the shape of Africa.

  • The Experience: Sip mint tea at the legendary Café Hafa, overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar toward the coast of Spain.

  • Note: Tangier has a unique "International Zone" vibe that you won't find anywhere else in the Kingdom.

Day 3: The Blue Pearl of the North

A scenic drive through the emerald-green Rif Mountains brings you to Chefchaouen.

  • Visual Feast: Spend the afternoon in the "Blue City." Your host will explain the history behind the blue-washed walls ranging from spiritual symbolism to practical cooling.

  • Sunset Hike: A light 20-minute walk to the Spanish Mosque offers the most iconic view of the town as the lights begin to twinkle against the blue limestone.

Day 4: Roman Echoes & Imperial Gates

Travel south into the heart of Moroccan history.

  • Volubilis: Walk the ancient streets of this UNESCO Roman site. The mosaics, still in their original positions, depict the labors of Hercules and the charms of Bacchus.

  • Meknes: Visit the "Versailles of Morocco." Stand before Bab Mansour, arguably the most beautiful gateway in North Africa, and visit the Royal Stables of Moulay Ismail.

  • Arrival: Reach Fes, the spiritual heart of the nation, by evening.

Day 5–6: Fes – The Living Museum

Two full days allow for a deep, unhurried immersion into the world’s most intact medieval city.

  • The 9,000 Alleys: Your private guide will navigate the labyrinth of Fes el-Bali. Visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa and the famous Chouara Tannery.

  • Master Crafts: We take you inside a Zellige (tile) workshop to see artisans hand-chipping terracotta into complex geometric mosaics. You’ll also visit weavers and brass-smiths who have practiced their craft for generations.

  • Desert Immersion: Arrive in Merzouga. Swap your 4x4 for a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.

  • The Experience: Enjoy a night in a Luxury Desert Camp. Day 8 is a "slow day"—visit the village of Khamlia for Gnaoua music and enjoy a traditional "Berber Pizza" (Madfouna) lunch with a local family.

  • The Stay: Spend the night in an eco-boutique Kasbah hotel, surrounded by gardens of almonds, pomegranates, and olives.

Day 10–12: The Magic of Marrakech

Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach the "Red City."

  • Modern Marrakech: Explore Guéliz, the French-designed district, for high-end boutiques and art galleries.

  • Optional Day Trip: Choose between a journey to the Ouzoud Waterfalls (the highest in North Africa) or a private "Shopping Safari" through the hidden corners of the souks to find the best rugs and leather goods.
